Mr. Robert Kincade passed away October 3, 2009 in Baptist Hospital after being diagnosed with cancer July, 2009. Robert was born in Nashville, Tennessee on February 15, 1933. He attended the local schools and graduated from Pearl High school. After graduation he served in the U. S. Army for two years. He returned to Nashville and enrolled in Tennessee State University where he received his bachelor’s degree. He moved to Jacksonville and worked at the Army Corps of Engineers until his retirement in 1993.

Robert was preceded in death by his youngest daughter Kathy in 1988. He is survived by wife, Carrie; daughters, Karen, Valerie and Kelley; one beloved granddaughter, Sevon Abramson all of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters, Francis Baker and Maggie Thompson of Nashville, Tennessee; one brother-in-law, John Martin, Memphis, Tennessee. Many nieces and nephews including, Alvin Baker II (Virginia) and Ms. Cleatus Baker of Nashville, Tennessee, Cecilia Hurst (Wendell) of Atlanta, Georgia, Debra Williams, Sonjia Stevens (Dwayne), LaTacha Fifer (Torian) all of Memphis, Tennessee. Among his many cousins are Mary Alice Sims, Chicago, Illinois and Agnes Gill of Wautoma, WI.

Robert is survived by many loyal friends who actively participated in making his last days comfortable; those include, Robert Trotter, Ernest Favors, James Mosley, Michael Abramson, Gershon Thomas, Byron Lee, Dr. Kim Mumford Clark and Maple Jones.
