God saw he was getting tired and called him home to rest on March 6, 2008. Mr. Robert L. Hall was born April 2, 1941, in Damascus, GA, to Johnny Hall, Jr. and Lela Mae Jones, who preceded him in death. He attended the local county schools. In 1958, Mr. Hall relocated to Jacksonville, FL., where he worked for S. B. Hubbard Trucking, which later became Genuine Hardware. He retired after 20 years of loyal service. Mr Hall married Martha Grice and to this union five children were born. Mr. Hall was saved early in his life and regularly attended church up until the time of his illness. He was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Pastor S.L. Foster. Although there were many times he could not make it to church because of his health, he continued to seek the Lord through his prayers and quiet time with God. He always encouraged his children to stay in church and looked forward to hearing and sharing the Word with his daughter and grandchildren. Mr. Hall leaves to mourn his passing: children, Charles L. Hall (deceased), Carnell E. Hall, Robert L. Hall, Jr. (deceased), Bradford L. Hall, Melessia R. Hall, Cleanzy Pinkey (Michelle), Anthony Warren (Chaniece) and Nakita Hall; siblings, Willie C. Salter (Rose), L. C. Mitchell (deceased), Dee Dee Reliford, John Lester, Sammy L. Hall, Willie Hall, Ike Hall, Terry Hall, Shirley Ann Johnson and Shelia O'Neal (special daughter); grandchildren, Charles L. Hall, Jr., Tamara White, Sterling M. Isom, Blaine A. Isom, Darryl A. Alexander, Jasmine Pinkney, Lindsey Pinkney and Jala Pinkney; great grandchildren, Xavier White, Genesis White, Tre'shon O'Neal and Trinity O'Neal; stepmother, Ida Mae Hall; aunts, Mary Jones and Ida Bell Hall and a host of uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
