Milton (Hercules) Coley was born October 14, 1944 in Dublin, Georgia to the late Adeline Gipson and Lester Coley.

He attended the public schools and was a graduate of Matthew W. Gilbert High School.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Logan and an aunt, Eva Bell.

Milton was a devoted father, grandfather, uncle and brother.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, James Lester Coley, Sr.; five sisters, Catherine Smith, Annie Laurie Jackson, Juanita Tyson and Irene King; one brother, Lester Coley; one brother-in-law, James Smith; aunts, Evangelist Birdie Taylor, Evangelist Pinkie Dixon of Jacksonville, Florida, Minnie Jones, Annie M. Edmond of Rentz, Georgia, Carrie Locke of Savannah, Georgia; and a host of grandchildren, uncles, cousins and friends.
