Sister
Annie Lizzie Perry was born June 1, 1929 to the union of the late Johnny and
Calister Roberts. She was raised in Damascus, Georgia and later relocated to
Jacksonville, Florida where she met and married the late Lewis Perry.
At an early age she accepted Christ and for many years was a devout member of Union Progressive Baptist Church under the Pastorate of Reverend C. R. Morgan. She was also a member of the Senior Choir until her health began to fail.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Arthur Britt; sisters, Bobbie Jean Taylor, Christine Atkins; brother, Willie C. Roberts; sister-in-law, Daisy Roberts; brother in law, John W. Groover, Sr.
Sister Annie Lizzie Perry was called to her heavenly reward on July 25, 2009. She leaves to rejoice and cherish her memory, three sisters, Levone Groover, Mariette Sampson and Evelyn Roberts (Damascus, Georgia); two brothers, Johnny Roberts, Andrew (Nella) Roberts, Daytona, Florida; a devoted nephew, John Groover; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends; also the staff and her many friends at Riverwood Center.
