Levern Straughter Gilmore (Patty) passed away April 22, 2008. She was a faithful member of the Northside Church of Christ for over 30 years with Bro. Charlie McClendon as her Pastor. She was employed by Wachovia Bank for 27 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory two devoted children, Benita (Rick) and Marcus(Tonya) Brooks; special niece, Marketia Fleming; one sister, Rosa Lee White; two brothers, Johnny Lee Straughter and Steven Straughter of Washington,D.C.; eleven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
