Mr. Joseph Lee Williams was born on January 21, 1952 in Dublin, Georgia to the late George Williams and Addie Mae Williams. He was a resident of Naples, Florida and later moved to Fort Myers, Florida.

Mr. Williams was a member of Unity Faith Missionary Baptist Church. He worked for the City of Naples for 20 years and retired in 2007.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. George Williams; brother, George Williams, Jr.; sister, Beatrice Ricks.

Mr. Joseph Lee Williams leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Sonya Williams of Jacksonville, Florida; one sister, Dr. Essie M. Bacon (James) of Jacksonville, Florida; 3 grandchildren, Anquanette, Douglas, Danielle, all of Jacksonville, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews and cousin; one special friend, Sebrena Davis, Ft. Myers, Florida.
