On March 28, 1987, beautiful baby boy, Jacob Maurice King, was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Ms. Edwina King and Jacob Carodine; the third born of five. He was reared and nurtured in a loving and Christian environment. He attended the local schools in the community.

Jacob and his fiancee, Lisa Smith, shared a wonderful life together until he passed away.

Mr. King was a loving and caring son, he had a passion for children. This energetic and viable young man enjoyed sports and music.

On March 23, 2009, God called, "Jake" home to his eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his dear grandparents, Willie and Dorothy King.

He leaves to cherish his memories, loving and devoted family, mother, Ms. Edwina King; father, Jacob Carodine; siblings, Kim Sasnett (Terrance), Richard "RJ", Joshua and Christine King; grandparents, Willie and Mary Carodine; a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.
