Hattie
Jones, known to family and friends as "Red", was born in Jacksonville, Florida
on September 25, 1931, to the late Robert and Rosella Jackson. She was a
graduate of New Stanton Senior High School, class of 1951.
Her nickname from fellow classmates was "Bonita". She enjoyed dancing and was a member of the Book Lovers Club. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Mrs. Jones passed away October 30, 2008. She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Almaree Severia-Judge (Anthony); grandson, Richard Robert Coggins (Roxie); sisters, Gloria Jean Felton, Myrtis Jackson; brother, Buddy Jackson; adopted daughter, Katrina Watson; step-daughters, Jacquelyn Mosley, Lorraine Felton; stepson, Devon Lawrence and a host of other relatives and friends.
