Rev.
Fharis Gibson, a resident of 11834 Wax Berry Lane, passed away November 23,
2008.
He was the pastor of A. M. E. Church of the Master. He pastored in the African Methodist Episcopal Church for 20 years. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include: wife, Blondie Gibson; father, Frank Gibson, Sr., sons,
Hernando,Sr. (Shelia), Bryan Zimmon and Clamente; daughters, Cametra Bryant (Matthew,II
), Pharis and Phedra; grandchildren, Ebony Bryant, Hernando,Jr., De`Janay and
Matthew Bryant, III and Aniyah Campbell; brothers, Frank, Jr. (Betty), Don
(Shirley), David and Eddie, Jr. (Alicia); sisters, LaSonga Bennett, LaTanya and
Mary Ann Gibson-Adams; brothers-in-law, Elisha (Doretha), King David (Shirley)
and Bishop Virgil (Mary) Jones; sisters-in-law, Beverly Brown (Ernest), Ellafair
Swain (Harold), Jacquelyne Lamkin and Rev. Regena Mangrum (Cowgee); other
relatives and many friends.
