Dorothy
Dennard was born to the late Henry Otto and Ethel Dennard. She attended the
schools. Dorothy gave her life to Christ at an early age. She served faithfully
as a stewardess of her church and member of United Methodist women ministry
until her health failed. She worked many years in the dry cleaning business
until retiring.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Mabel, and her brother, Willie Frank.
She leaves to mourn: her brother, Adolphus; sister-in-law, Bernettie Dennard; nieces, Ethel Dennard Lamb, Barbara Dennard Griffin, Belinda Dennard White (Lamar), Sheila Dennard Brooks (Lincoln), Gwendolyn Dennard Owens (Willie), Pamela Dennard (Jimmie Lee), Carolyn Dennard; nephews, Willie James Dennard, Steven Dennard, Roderick Dennard, Michael Dennard (May Rose), Billy Dennard (Barbara) and a host of great, great, great nieces and nephews; a faithful friend, Miss Louise and many other relatives and sorrowing friends.
