Mr.
Anthony Lewis "Par" Graham, 61, expired on May 12, 2009 after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Jacksonville, Florida and attended the local schools. Mr. Graham was a graduate of Matthew W. Gilbert, class of 1965 and was co-captian of the football team, as well as the basketball team. He attended Edward Waters College. He also served in the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 34 years of dedicated service.
Mr. Graham loved his Church, Greater Payne AME Church and was an active member of the "Sons of Thunder " Male Chorus.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ishmon Graham.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Carolyn Collins Graham; daughter, Briggitte Coleman (Darrell); sons, Cornelious "Mann" Nelson and Anthony "Snook" Graham II (Staycie); mother, Johnnie Mae Graham; brother, Kenneth Graham (Phyllis); sister-in-law, Patricia Singleton (Anthony); brother-in-law, Raymond "Al" Collins; grandchildren, Tennille Collins, Darrell Jr., Anthony Coleman, La'vell, Anthony,III, Xavier and Ambernie Graham; aunts, Juanita James and Rosa Stallings; Adopted sons, Alvin Henley and Terrance Williams; former daughter-in-law/caretaker, Monique Graham; nieces and nephews, Tonya, Kenneth Jr., Antonette, Byron R., Byron G., Jonathan, Ashley, Allegra and Allana; cousins, Kim, Renee, Robin and Kelsey; dear friends, Juanita Burks, Cecelia Williams, Cynthia Ross, Barbara & Geri Timmons; Adopted, father, Ben Weston and a host of other relatives and friends.
