Florida to the late Annie Bell Williams and William H. Williams, She was a
graduate of Old Stanton Senior High School.
Mrs. Altamese V. Houston, a
resident of 9614 Gisborne Drive, Jacksonville, FL, passed on peacefully into her
new life on September 28, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, James
Howard Houston and a devoted Step father, Mr. Rayford Cambridge. She leaves to
cherish her loving memories children, Gloria Gipson (Hezekah) of Maywood, IL,
Marilyn Philpot, James H. Houston, Jr., Orlando, FL., Carolyn Clair (Kenneth),
Annie B. Norris (Billy) and Tommy Houston; 30 grandchildren, 25
great-grandchildren; 1 great great grand; nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
